sonnets

Petrarchan sonnets:

A Game of Soccer:

1.Sunrise: The town's summer wakes people up A
2.Shine brilliance on the river color blue B
3.clouds disappearing from the darkest sky B
4.sunlight lightened  to this town. The heart make A         octet 8 lines
5.peace and happiness to the human being C
6.the sun lightened up the green soccer field D
7.for our team of soccer. The supporters D
8.begin to scream for the team they support. C

9.A game: The team heart began to tremble, E
10.to choose among the kickoff or the field F
11.captains began to return back to their team. G              Sestet :  6 lines

12.Only the best team could win this biggest E
13.game. slide, dribble, and kick the ball up high F
14.until it will passes through the goalpost. G


Indonesian Army:

1.The sunlight rise as the soldiers woke up A
2.20,000 thousand soldiers were on the trenches B
3.They were ready for the japans to strike B
4.Guns were loaded, and the teams were formed A
5.The sunlight strike the Indonesian soldiers they C             Octave: 8 lines
6.were tired guarding their trenches and troops. D
7.building more shell holes on the rusty trench D
8.So the soldiers will be more safer there. C

9.One Indonesian soldiers seem to see one troop E
10.that was holding a flag. Its the Japan! F

Explanation: Petrarchan

Petrarchan sonnets have 10 syllables in each line. Petrarchan sonnet have 8 lines in the first stanza that is named octet and in the second stanza that have 6 lines and named sestet.
